Father, son accused of nearly beheading man in Davao

A man and his son were accused of nearly beheading their drinking buddy in Davao City on Sunday evening. Ponciano Albano Sr. and his son, Ponciano Jr., were already gone when authorities arrived at the crime scene in barangay Talomo Proper, where the nearly beheaded victim, identified as Johnny Malaga, was found. Police have yet to determine the reason for the killing. An operation has been launched to capture the suspects. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 27 May 2013
