MANILA, Philippines – Former world super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire is setting aside boxing for the moment as he prepares to take on a new role – a first time dad. Donaire’s wife, Rachel, is scheduled to give birth next month to a baby boy. Donaire lost his world titles last April when he dropped a decision to unbeaten Cuban boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux.
