MANILA, Philippines – Marisa Park netted a brace for the Philippines as the Malditas defeated Bangladesh in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers. The victory, however, was not enough to catapult the girls to the main draw of the tournament which takes place in 2014. The Malditas finished second with six points on nine goals, while Thailand topped Group B with nine points on 14 goals. ANC, May 26, 2013
