Greens would support Corbyn to secure People's Vote

Siân Berry - co-leader of the Green Party for England and Wales - says her party "would support a Corbyn-led government" but stressed that they "want to see a People's Vote, not a general election". The Labour leader wrote to opposition party leaders seeking "the confidence of the House for a strictly time-limited temporary government" before asking the EU for a Brexit extension which would allow time for a general election. Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson said on Thursday morning that Jeremy Corbyn would not be the person to lead an emergency government.
