A five-year-old girl got her arm stuck in an escalator at a mall in central China.
The terrifying CCTV video, shot in Hanchuan city in Hubei province on August 12, shows a girl putting her hand on the handrail when going up an escalator with her mum.
After she reached the top, the girl's hand was sucked into the gap where the handrail goes.
Firefighters managed to use blade and screwdriver to tear down the escalator.
After ten minutes, the girl's arm was freed successfully and she was handed over to the paramedics on site.
The girl was hospitalised and a doctor had to stitch up her arm.
