Central Bureau of Investigation needs statutory status like CAG, says CJI Ranjan Gogoi

The Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has called for a statutory status to the Central Bureau of Investigation. He believes this can delink the probe agency from government control. He was speaking at the CBI's DP Kohli Memorial Lecture, reports Parikshit Luthra.
