Noted writer Shobhaa De has strongly attacked Abdul Basit, the former High Commissioner of Pakistan. Shobhaa De has dismissed the statement of Abdul Basit as dangerous. In fact, Basit had recently said that Shobhaa De had written an article on the Kashmir issue from the Pakistani point of view at her behest. Shobha Dey, who is stung by the allegations, has denied all the allegations in a video.

जानीमानी लेखिका शोभा डे ने पाकिस्‍तान के पूर्व उच्‍चायुक्‍त अब्‍दुल बासित पर जोरदार हमला बोला है। शोभा डे ने अब्दुल बासित के आरोपों को झुठलाते हुए उनके बयान को खतरनाक बताया है। दरअसल, हाल ही में बासित ने कहा था कि शोभा डे ने उनके कहने पर पाकिस्‍तान के नजरिए से कश्‍मीर मुद्दे पर एक लेख लिखा था। आरोपों से तिलमिलायी शोभा डे ने एक वीडियो में सारे आरोपों का खंडन किया है।
