Ingredients:

- 1 cup butter(unsalted)
- 1 cup Icing Sugar
- 1 tbsp Water(hot)
- Pre-made eggless sponge cake
- Color fondant

Method:

1. Take 1 cup of butter and 1 Cup of Icing Sugar in a large bowl

2. Stir well and then whisk it until the icing is pale and fluffy

3. Now, add hot water to this icing and mix it (This will make icing smoother and creamy) and our Buttercream is ready

4. Take a pre-made eggless sponge cake which is baked in a 6-inch mold

5. Saw the upper layer of the sponge cake to make it flat and even
for icing

6. Take a cake board with a little buttercream spread on top and place the sponge cake on it

7. Put some buttercream on the sponge cake and spread it on the top and the sides evenly with an angled palette knife

8. Remove the extra buttercream and place the cream in the fridge

9. Now to make Rakhi, take ready-made colored fondant of
different colors of your choice

10. Roll the fondant with a roller, and cut it in a flower shape of different sizes using a flower cutter (small and big)

11. Now, to assemble the flower-shaped fondant, take the biggest flower with water applied in the center and place other small flowers on it accordingly (Keep some small flowers aside for decorating the cake)

12. For strand of Rakhi, roll out fondant of two different colors in a thin snake shape

13. Intertwine them both and seal the edges by pinching the tops

14. Cut the strand into half

15. Take the cake out of the fridge

16. Place the rakhi in its center and arrange the strands on the sides

17. Tap the rakhi and its strand, so that it sticks the buttercream

18. Now, take the remaining small flowers kept aside and place it on the cake randomly.

19. Take Sprinkles and stick it in the center of all the flowers on the cake

20. Take more sprinklers and stick it to the bottom of the cake using a butter knife
