Amazon deforestation causes Dominican Republic beaches to be covered in stinky seaweed

The beaches of Punta Cana, a popular tourist destination in the Dominican Republic, are covered in seaweed. While crews work to clean the beaches, the seaweed continues to roll in and experts say it may stay this way until deforestation of the Amazon rainforest stops in South America.
