Nathan Patterson has inked a contract with the Oakland A's after video was uploaded of him throwing at a speed-pitch radar booth.
The clip, which was filmed by his brother Christian, was at the Colorado Rockies' Coors Field.
The 23-year-old's experience
only includes high school baseball
and recreation leagues.
According to 'USA Today,' the
A's were aware of Patterson
before the video at Coors Field.
He had also thrown heat at a Nashville Sounds minor league game, a squad
affiliated with Oakland.
