여야, 추경안 심사 막판 진통...국회 본회의 지연

A plenary session scheduled for Thursday afternoon at South Korea's National Assembly continues to be delayed.
The full floor meeting had initially been scheduled for 2 PM, Korea time,... to finally vote on a multi-billion dollar extra budget proposal,... but rival parties are divided over making cuts to the budget.
They've yet to reach a compromise on the figure,... as the conservative opposition wants larger cuts,... given that about half of the budget is to be funded through debt.
The government submitted the 5-point-7 billion U.S. dollar extra budget proposal in late April... to tackle downside economic risks and support recovery efforts following a string of natural disasters.
Rival lawmakers have agreed, though, to add about 230 million dollars to help the government deal with Japan's export curbs.
If and when the session takes place,... lawmakers will also vote on resolutions urging Japan to lift its export restrictions,... and condemning the recent air intrusion by Chinese and Russian aircraft that violated Korea's air identification zone.
