Will work with auto dealers to ease their stress, says MD of SBI PK Gupta

Representatives from Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) met State Bank of India officials earlier this week in a bid to discuss ways to tackle the crisis that has gripped motown. The auto sector currently is going through its worst phase in the last two decades. According to FADA, around 200 passenger vehicle dealer showrooms have downed shutters in the last one year, leading to job losses of around 25,000 people. To discuss this, CNBC-TV18 spoke with PK Gupta MD of State Bank of India (SBI) and Vinkesh Gulati Vice President of Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).
