In the Cooch Bihar Trophy and Veenu Mankad Trophy played in Indian domestic cricket, Bihar's son Apoorva Anand has made a unique record and named the state as bright. Apoorva Anand took 62 wickets and 17 wickets in both the tournaments of the Under-19 tournament conducted by BCCI playing on behalf of Bihar, which is a record. That is 79 wickets in total 16 matches.

भारतीय घरेलू क्रिकेट में खेली गई कूच बिहार ट्रॉफी और वीनू मांकड़ ट्रॉफी में बिहार के बेटे अपूर्व आनंद ने एक अनोखा रिकॉर्ड बना कर राज्‍य का नाम रौशन किया है। अपूर्व आनंद ने बिहार की ओर से खेलते हुए BCCI द्वारा आयोजित अंडर 19 के दोनों टूर्नामेंट में क्रमश : 62 और 17 विकेट लिया, जो रिकॉर्ड है। यानी कुल 16 मैच में 79 विकेट।
