MLB's Troy Tulowitzki to Retire The 34-year-old five-time All-Star
is hanging up his cleats after
13 seasons in the league. "Tulo" spent most of his career with the Colorado Rockies before leaving for
the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015. During the past couple seasons, the
Gold Glove and Silver Slugger winner
has been besieged by injuries. He ended up missing all of the 2018 season due to surgery from bone spurs in his ankle. Tulowitzki then signed on with the
New York Yankees at the beginning
of the 2019 season. But injuries struck the infielder once again, leaving him to announce his retirement after playing just five games this year. Tulowitzki leaves pro baseball with a
career batting average of .290,
