Study Says Teenagers Experiment
With Drugs More in Summer For their findings, researchers surveyed
nearly 400,000 people in the U.S.
from 2011 to 2017. The study was recently revealed in the
'Journal of General Internal Medicine.' All of the subjects, who were ages 12 and up, detailed their personal drug history
over that period of time. Results went on to show that during the months of June, July and August, experimentation was the highest of any point. Researchers say one reason may be
due to the increased leisure time
kids have with school being out. Study senior author Joseph Palamar adds that the results means there should be a bigger focus on drug education before and during summer. Joseph Palamar, via statement
