Japanese teen skateboarder rolls closer to Olympic dreams with slot in 2020 Tokyo Games

Thirteen-year-old Misugu Okamoto is currently Japan’s best hope of winning a gold medal when the country hosts the Olympics in Tokyo next year. The teenager has earned a slot in the 2020 Games competing in skateboarding, which will make an Olympic debut in Tokyo along with baseball, karate, sport climbing and surfing.
