Penalty to Be Reinstated Federal executions
have not been
conducted since 2003. William Barr,
Attorney General, via NBC News Following the order,
five men whose legal appeals
have been exhausted, were
scheduled to be executed. All five men
were convicted of
murdering children. They will be executed
by lethal injection of a
single drug in either
December or January. According to the
Justice Department,
more executions will follow. 60 inmates
presently sit on
federal death row.
