Steve Kerr Not Happy With
Forced Trade By Anthony Davis The Golden State Warriors coach
said the trade was "bad for the league." Kerr said the growing trend of players
who are not free agents requesting
trades is a "real problem." Steve Kerr, via The Warriors Insider Podcast Davis requested a trade to the Lakers in January
while still a member of the Pelicans. Davis had one season left on his deal
with the Pelicans when he was traded
to Los Angeles this offseason. The All-Star was traded to the Lakers for
Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart
and three first-round draft picks. NBA commissioner Adam Silver has said
multiple times that he wants trade demands
"handled behind closed doors." Kerr said that there is a right and wrong way
