Hundreds have died and millions have been displaced as severe floods continue to ravage large parts of India this week.

The eastern stated of Bihar has been one of the worst hit where close to 200 people have been killed and some 4.7 million displaced.

Footage shows flood waters covering houses at a rural area in Bihar following heavy downpours on July 22.

The monsoon season has resulted in more than 300 deaths across South Asia. The number is expected to rise as several hundreds remain missing, agencies reported.
