The eighth edition of Only Watch auction, a highly anticipated sale that takes place every two years, has just unveiled unique pieces from participating watchmakers that are set to go under the hammer on November 9 in Geneva.
Hosted in collaboration with Christie’s, Only Watch invited 52 watchmakers to create one-of-a-kind timepieces for auction this year, with all proceeds from the sales going to scientific and medical research on neuromuscular diseases in general and on Duchenne muscular dystrophy in particular. The previous seven editions raised a total of 40 million Swiss francs (US$40,5 million), with 99 per cent of the money going directly towards research on neuromuscular diseases.
