Natalie Portman to Star as Female Thor in Upcoming Movie Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced their upcoming movies on stage at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. Among the “phase four” films is ’Thor: Love and Thunder,’ directed by Taika Waititi. According to Waititi, the movie is inspired by the comic series, “The Mighty Thor,” which stars a female Thor character. Waititi then announced that Natalie Portman would be taking on the role of the female Thor.
