Footage shows a flooded street in Lanao del Norte, the Philippines, this morning (July 19) after Typhoon Falcon brought heavy rain to the area.

Locals had to wade through the ankle-deep muddy water after the downpours in the village of Maranding in the Lala district.

The tropical depression formed in the Philippine Sea on Monday morning and the weather system rapidly strengthened into a tropical storm by nightfall.

It has since spread north towards Korea and Japan after exiting the Philippines by Friday morning.
