This was the controlled explosion undertaken by officers from the Royal Logistic Corp Bomb disposal unit this morning in Newton in Bowland. They are currently being filmed by a TV crew from Channel 4 and the programme should be aired in the New Year. If anyone suspects they have found any sort of ordnance device do not touch it.
