Buffett purchased the California seller of boxed chocolates in 1972, says Business Insider. Buffett has praised See's outsized financial returns, modest capital needs, and quality personnel. Buffett has made an enormous return on his investment in See's: north of 8000% since 1972, or more than 160% a year.
