Shahid Kapoor's next film after Kabir Singh and while the actor has not confirmed anything on that front, it was being said that he will star in another Hindi remake of another Telugu movie, Jersey, that starred Nani in the lead role. The rights for the Hindi version have apparently been bagged by Karan Johar, however, according to sources, nothing has been finalised yet as Dil Raju, who was the producer of the original film has refused to give the rights to Dharma Productions.
