Amid Homeless Crisis, San Francisco Looks To Install High-Tech Smart Garbage Cans
  • 5 years ago
According to a report by Geek.com, San Francisco is looking to keep its streets and sidewalks free of trash by installing a network of high-tech sensors. These sensors are reportedly designed for use inside trash and recycling receptacles that monitor how quickly the bin is being filled up, the temperature inside it, and how full it is. When a bin is 80% full, the sensors will then send a request for pickup. Geek.
