Pete Buttigieg Raises Nearly $7 Million More Than Bernie Sanders In Second Quarter

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign outraised Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2020 presidential campaign. According to Business Insider, Buttigieg raised nearly $7 million more in the second quarter of 2019. Sanders raised $18 million while Buttigieg raised $24.8 million. During the first quarter, Sanders was ahead of the rest of the 2020 democratic candidates. His campaign said there are an additional $6 million from other accounts and roughly $30 million in cash on hand.
