A federal appeals court ruled that President Donald Trump violated the Constitution. Trump did this by blocking people whose views he disliked from his Twitter account. According to Reuters, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan voted 3-0. They said the First Amendment forbids Trump from using Twitter’s “blocking” function. Spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Justice said: “We are disappointed with the court’s decision and are exploring possible next steps.”
