New Senate Bill Would Block 2026 World Cup Funding Until USWNT Gets Equal Pay

With the U.S. set to co-host the 2026 World Cup, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) introduced a bill on Tuesday that would prohibit any federal funding unless the U.S. Soccer Federation pays the women's national team the same as the men's squad.
