German tourist captures golf ball sized hail battering Italian city

A severe hailstorm hit Pescara, Italy today (July 10) causing severe damage to properties and injuring dozens.
Footage shows hailstones the size of golf balls battering the seafront close to the city centre.
The filmer told Newsflare: ''We went to the beach and after two minutes the rain began.
''We waited under a bridge and then the hail and the wind comes very fast.
''There was big chaos in the streets. The hailstones broke the windows of the cars.
''After the hailstorm, we ran back to our cars and one of the windows in my sister car was broken.''
