GST reduction announced in budget 2019 may bring down the cost of Kona EV by Rs 2 lakh, says Puneet Anand of Hyundai India

Hyundai Motors has launched the Kona Electric in India today making it India’s first real electric SUV. Priced at Rs 25.3 lakh, the Kona Electric will be available in 15 Hyundai dealerships across 11 cities. The car's USP is the ARAI certified range of 452 kilometres on a single charge. Parikshit Luthra spoke with Puneet Anand, the marketing group head of Hyundai India on budget incentives for electric vehicles and Hyundai’s own EV roadmap.
