Anti-extradition bill protest at West Kowloon station aims to gain support from mainland Chinese

Tens of thousands of Hong Kong protesters rallied in Kowloon on July 7, 2019 against the now-stalled extradition law amendment. The protesters marched from the tourist district of Tsim Sha Tsui to the West Kowloon station, which is the terminal for the cross-border, high-speed rail link.  Organisers said the rally would be ‘peaceful, rational and graceful’ and aimed to gain support from mainland Chinese visitors.
