India won their World Cup 2019 match against Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at Headingley in England's Leeds on Saturday. Earlier Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 264 for 7. Angelo Mathews scored 113 runs the highest for the side. Apart from him Lahiru Thirimanne scored 53 runs. For India, Lokesh Rahul was the highest scorer with 111 runs, apart from him Rohit Sharma scored 103. He became the batsman with the most number of centuries in a single World Cup and the highest scorer in group stages of a single World Cup in this match. Among bowlers, India's Jasprit Bumrah plucked 3 wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav claimed one wicket each. While for Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga, Isuru Udana and Kasun Rajitha plucked one wicket each.
