Also, a jubilant end to the political stand-off in Sudan - after months of crisis, a new power-sharing deal is agreed upon by military and civilian representatives. And leaders from across the continent are meeting in Niger this weekend for an African Union Summit. The goal: to finalise a landmark free-trade zone between members.
