Najib: BN will support lowering of voting age to 18

Former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak on Thursday said he has his reservations but Barisan Nasional MPs were in support of the Bill to lower the voting age from 21 to 18, provided that there is automatic registration of voters.

The Pekan MP was met by reporters following a meeting with Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman in the Parliament lobby over the issue.
