Nicki Minaj to Headline
Saudi Arabia's Jeddah World Fest The "Megatron" songstress is
scheduled to perform on July 18. Anyone 16 and older can enter the festival, which will also showcase
DJ Steve Aoki and singer Liam Payne. The event will be held at
King Abdullah Sports Stadium
and is alcohol and drug free. Due to Minaj's provocative style,
many were surprised
at the move. But in recent years, the conservative Saudi kingdom has
been loosening up restrictions on entertainment. Besides Minaj, Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias and Sean Paul have performed in the country
since last year. According to organizers, the
Jeddah World Fest will be
broadcast worldwide. MTV will also showcase
the music festival.
