When Anne Ameyo, a Nairobi based lawyer discovered she had colon cancer, she was 19 weeks pregnant with her second child. Doctors advised her to terminate her pregnancy in order to save her life but she held on to her motherly instinct and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl
