Lady Gaga and Adele Invited
to Join Motion Picture Academy 842 new members of the Academy
were announced on Tuesday. Among those new members
were 28 individuals within
the field of music, including Lady Gaga,
Adele and Annie Lennox. Each of the performers
have won Oscars. Gaga won for "A Star Is Born," Adele was
recognized
for "Skyfall," and Lennox won for "Into the West" from 'Lord of the Rings.' Three other Oscar winners added to the Academy this year include 'Black Panther' composer Ludwig Goransson and "Shallow" co-writers
Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.
