Rohit Sharma slammed his fourth century of the World Cup 2019 and overtook David Warner as the leading run-scorer of the ongoing tournament during the match against Bangladesh on Tuesday. Sharma equals the record of Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara of hitting four centuries in a World Cup. Scoring 104 from 92 balls, hitting seven fours and five sixes, against Bangladesh in the first innings on Tuesday at Edgbaston, the Indian opener now leads the leading run-scorer with 544 runs. Australia’s Warner is second with 516 runs. It was his 26th ODI century.
