Group Reveals 'Xenophobic
and Sexist' Posts, Says Report The report was
published by the
nonprofit news
organization ProPublica. The Facebook group has
close to 9,500 members
claiming to be current or
former Border Patrol officers. Targeted in many
of the posts are both
lawmakers as well as migrants. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-NY)
is the subject of several lewd posts,
including one with President Donald Trump. In a tweet,
Ocasio-Cortez
responded to
the report. ProPublica was able
to verify the identity
of some of those who
posted to the secret group. Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost
responded to the report saying,
"Any employees found to have violated
our standards of conduct will be held accountable."
