Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighbourhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, alongside Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cobie Smulders, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Angourie Rice, and Samuel L. Jackson.
The film opens in the UK on 2nd July 2019.
For select sequences of the film, approximately 47 minutes, the screen will expand and IMAX audiences will see up to 26% more picture than standard cinemas.
The specially-designed video uses the IMAX blue frame to show how these specially formatted scenes go beyond the standard cinema size – giving audiences more picture and the best vantage point possible as Spider-Man swings through cities around the world.
In addition to featuring IMAX expanded aspect ratio (26% more picture on screen), the IMAX release of Spider-Man: Far From Home will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® with proprietary IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX's customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie.
