The updating of National Register of Citizenship for Assam has triggered a rash of people's death, suggesting that it has become a source of tremendous stress and anxiety for segments of the state's population. These emotions doesn't necessarily arise from paranoia after all, exclusion from NRC implies denial of Indian Citizenship and even, deportation from the country.

असम में एनआरसी और नागरिकता छिनने के डर से कई मौतें हो रही है । बता दें कि असम में सरकार एनआरसी को लेकर सख्त है और दोबारा से नागरिकता से जुड़े रजिस्टर को अपडेट करने में लगी है । ऐसे में 40 लाख से भी ज्यादा लोगों का नागरिका की सूची से बाहर है तो वहीं कई लोगों ने इस दुख में आत्महत्या कर ली है । तो क्या भारत देश की नागरिकता अब लोगों की जान ले रहा है ।
