Mike Trout and Christian Yelich Headline MLB All-Star Starters Trout will be joined in the AL outfield by
Houston's George Springer and Michael Brantley. The Houston Astros led all teams with
three starters for this year's All-Star Game. Alex Bregman will be the starting third baseman
for the American League. The remaining AL infielders will be Gary Sanchez
and DJ LeMahieu of the New York Yankees, Cleveland's Carlos Santana and Minnesota's Jorge Polanco. Milwaukee's Christian Yelich, who
leads MLB with 29 home runs, led
the National League in votes. He will be joined in the NL outfield by
Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers
and Atlanta's Ronald Acuna Jr. The NL infield includes Willson Contreras
and Javier Baez of the Chicago Cubs, Atlanta's Freddie Freeman and Arizona's Ketel Marte. The pitchers and remaining All-Stars
will be announced on Sunday. The All-Star Game will take place July 9
at Cleveland’s Progressive Field.
