What did Chinese stars Lu Han and Tang Wei wear on the red carpet at this year’s Shanghai International Film Festival?

Fashions from the world’s top brands, including Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Ralph & Russo and Giorgio Armani, were in the spotlight on the red carpet on opening day.

The 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival, which was held this month in the Chinese metropolis, has come to an end for another year.

The event, one of the region’s most influential film festivals, featured Chinese actor and director Wu Jing, as its official ambassador, with celebrated figures from the world of cinema, including Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, the jury president, and Chinese director Ning Hao, among the jury members.

The jury awarded a series of Golden Goblet Awards in numerous fields, including best film, best director, best actor and best actress.

Many of China’s leading cinema figures were honoured with awards this year.
