Bitcoin Drops More Than $2,000 in Less Than a Day Bitcoin prices dropped to a
low of $11,346.85 after hitting a 17-month
high a day earlier at $13,485.85. Bitcoin’s all-time high of $20,000 was reached in December 2017. Several industry leaders have noted leverage as the reason behind the instability of bitcoin, with many using the cryptocurrency to borrow money
for trades. Former hedge fund manager and CEO of Galaxy Digital Holdings, Michael Novogratz, expects the range to stay between $10,000 to $14,000
moving forward.
