The number of candidates in the race to become the next Conservative leader and prime minister of the UK, is now down to two.
The final candidates were confirmed on Thursday as the former London mayor Boris Johnson and current foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt.
The favorite among the party's 313 MPs in the final ballot, was Johnson with 160 votes.
Hunt with 77 votes advanced to the next round with just two more votes than the next candidate Michael Gove.
The new leader of the center-right party will be announced in the week of July 22 and will almost certainly become the next prime minister to replace Theresa May.
