having the worst record
in the league in January to winning their first
NHL championship. Ryan O'Reilly was named
most valuable player of
the playoffs. He is also the first player to
score in four straight Stanley Cup Final games. Alex Pietrangelo, Brayden Schenn and Zach Sanford also scored for the Blues. Rookie Jordan Binnington
blocked 32 shots and joined only four other
goalies who won a Championship
in their rookie season. St. Louis won 30 of their
49 regular-season games.
