Anwar leaves it to deputy minister to decide on Haziq's fate

PKR has yet to decide if any disciplinary action will be taken against Santubong Youth chief Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz, says party president Anwar Ibrahim.
Addressing a press conference after holding a political bureau meeting this evening, he also dismissed allegations that the sex video scandal engulfing the party is part of an internal conspiracy.
"For now we have only made this decision... we will meet again soon seeing that this issue has yet to be resolved.
"We will need to study this issue again and we also need input from our lawyer.
"We will discuss this again in a few days’ time," he said, adding that PKR was in full support of ongoing police and MACC investigations into the matter.
