ICC World Cup 2019:Australian opener David Warner got a huge reprieve on Sunday during the game against India after Jasprit Bumrah induced a chop on the stumps only to see the bails remain firmly in position. On the 1st ball of the second over of Australia's chase of 353 at The Oval, Bumrah and rest of Indian players were left stunned when the bails didn't fall even after a thick edge from Warner's bat crashed directly into the stumps.Even after Virat Kohli and Aaron Finch had complained about the 'zing' bails on Sunday, ICC has refused to change the controversial bails, which sometimes fail to come off even when the ball hits the stumps.

ఇంగ్లాండ్ వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న వన్డే వరల్డ్‌కప్‌లో వివాదాస్పదంగా మారిన జింగ్‌ బెయిల్స్‌ను మార్చే ప్రసక్తి లేదని అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్ కౌన్సిల్ (ఐసీసీ) తేల్చి చెప్పింది. మెగాటోర్నీ మధ్యలో ఎలాంటి మార్పులు చేయబోమని.. ఏదేమైనా అందరూ అవి వాడాల్సిందేనని స్పష్టం చేసింది.
"గత వరల్డ్‌కప్ నుంచి అన్ని అంతర్జాతీయ మ్యాచ్‌ల్లో ఇవే బెయిల్స్ వినియోగిస్తున్నాం. అప్పుడు లేని సమస్య ఇప్పుడే ఎందుకు తలెత్తుతోంది. అదంతా ఆటలో భాగమే. టోర్నీ మధ్యలో మార్పులు చేయం. అన్ని జట్లు అదే సరంజామతో ఆడుతున్నాయి" అని ఐసీసీ మంగళవారం ఒక ప్రకటనలో పేర్కొంది.
