Lil Xan Under Investigation
for Assault With a Deadly Weapon The reported altercation occurred on
June 7 between Lil Xan and the alleged victim. The two men got into a verbal fight at a
California gas station which then escalated
when the 22-year-old rapper pulled out a handgun. Lil Xan pointed the gun at the unnamed man
multiple times before driving away. The LAPD is officially investigating the incident,
as the unnamed man recorded the whole encounter
and filed a police report shortly afterwards. Lil Xan commented on the incident
after it initially happened, claiming
he had to resort to “self defense.” Lil Xan, via Instagram TMZ reports that cops are currently pulling
video from nearby businesses and residential
buildings and are trying to speak with Lil Xan. Although he did not shoot his gun, if the alleged
victim feared for his life, charges against Lil Xan
could be raised to assault with a deadly weapon. If charged, Lil Xan could face a
maximum of 4 years in prison.
